My Baby, My Kill!
A half-century-old political debate has re-entered the headlines after someone at the Supreme Court leaked the transcript of a pending decision involving the fate of the infamous 1973 case, Roe v. Wade, which is known for legalizing abortion nationwide. Nearly 50 years after inventing the right to kill an unborn child, the high court decided to overturn its previous ruling, propelling the Left into a nonstop, perpetual state of panic and anger.
Just minutes after hearing rumors that the Supreme Court had struck down the Holy Grail of the American Left, liberal activists and people who bear a likeness of Jabba the Hutt frantically assembled outside the Court and howled epithets about losing their rights to an abortion because, if anyone is going to be raped, it will definitely be a purple-haired Gollum with pointy, oversized nerd glasses and body odor that smells like hot dog water. Quite the ego on them, don’t you think?
Despite what most people have heard, the justices have not yet officially issued the final decision on Roe v. Wade. The only thing that has been released is an unauthorized draft of the final decision, authored by Justice Alito, which argues for the old case being overturned, “Roe was egregiously wrong from the start. Its reasoning was exceptionally weak, and the decision has had damaging consequences. And far from bringing about a national settlement of the abortion issue, Roe and Casey have enflamed debate and deepened division,” Justice Alito wrote in the opinion draft.
Associate justices Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett have also signed on with Alito’s opinion, cementing the 5-4 vote in favor of overturning the infamous decision.
What does this mean? Most have speculated that whoever illegally leaked the document, most likely a liberal, intended to stir enough public outrage over the pending decision in order to intimidate, and by that factor, influence the final decision, causing the more conservative justices to change their minds in fear of retaliation. If true, by definition, this would be classified as obstruction of justice for intended intimidation of federal judges, a federal felony under the law.
But, we don’t care about that now, do we? We have unborn babies to kill.
If the intention of the leaker was to intimidate, they certainly accomplished their goal. On Saturday, liberal “pro-choice”-ers showed up in the dozens outside the homes of both Chief Justice John Roberts and Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh, screeching lefty talking points at their families stuck inside and drawing sinister images of coat hangers on the sidewalk outside their homes in chalk. Police eventually showed up and, through emotive chants of “You don’t care if people die!” and “We will not go back!” ushered the boisterous activists out of the justices’ neighborhoods. The harassment is becoming so sinister that Justice Samuel Alito had to be moved to an undisclosed location for his safety.
We live in the United States of America and Supreme Court justices are being ushered away through the shadows to avoid violence from barbaric political activists. Make no mistake: The fascists have arrived, but they are not who the media would have you believe they are.
At no point in history before last Tuesday was a draft of a Supreme Court opinion ever released to the public. Given the situation’s unprecedented characteristics, this debacle is a smoking gun, implicating a coordinated assault on our prestigious judicial system, as well as an act of spite on President Trump’s cemented legacy on the highest court in the land. The Court should stand resilient in the faces of antipathy and intimidation.
Oftentimes, it has been the judicial branch tossing wrenches into the gears of big government during times of unfettered Democrat control of the other two respective branches. A good example of this is back in January when the Supreme Court struck down OSHA’s tyrannical vaccine mandate for private businesses, stating that Congress has not given OSHA the authority to “regulate public health more broadly.”
Most people forget about the power of that third, understated branch that accentuates the Founders’ intentions of an equally checked and balanced constitutional government. When the legislative and executive branches, assuming they are both controlled by the same party, go running mad with unbridled power, the judicial branch is charged with the agency to humble both of them within the bounds of the Constitution. Although Democrats pose control of both the White House and Congress, that pesky Supreme Court was likely to shut them down on their biggest oversteps. They understood this predicament well, which is why they campaigned so harshly in 2020 on packing the Supreme Court with liberal judges to cancel out Donald Trump’s conservative picks, taking a tactic out of socialist President Franklin Roosevelt’s playbook.
In 1937, a re-elected Roosevelt proposed a plan to “pack” or increase the number of justices on the Court from 9 to 15 to, as he claimed, make the judicial process more “efficient” when, in reality, he wanted a court that would support his socialist New Deal policies. This was prompted by a conservative-leaning Supreme Court that was objecting to many of Roosevelt’s proposed ideas.
Abortion is an issue that has always been met with extremes. The Left makes it virtually impossible to discuss the topic without dragging up instances of rape, incest, life of the mother, or other extreme instances that are virtually on par with getting struck by lightning or winning the lottery. A single state bans abortion and MSNBC runs through a 2-week news cycle as if every single woman in America is going to be raped and be forced to carry their rapist’s baby. Asinine over-exaggeration is the Left’s response to pretty much every social and economic issue. That is the only way anyone will vote for their crackpot theories; emotion sells more than facts.
According to the CDC, 3 million women have become pregnant after a sexual encounter with a rapist. That’s just 1.8 percent of the entire female population in the United States. Of course, those extreme cases are not to be scoffed at; rape is an absolutely egregious thing that no one should ever have to suffer and 3 million people is a lot when numbers are concerned. In proportion to the rest of the country, however, it is not something that should be dictating the national debate on an issue where well over 50 million unborn children have been murdered alive in the womb since the Supreme Court upheld Roe v. Wade in 1973.
Another statistic from the CDC in 2013 identifies race as a major factor when determining if someone is more or less likely to be aborted. The largest racial group to participate in abortion is whites at 37.3 percent. This is expected, considering whites are a majority in the United States. However, this number is not far from African Americans, who rank as the largest minority group to receive abortions at 35.6 percent. This is only a 1.7 percent difference between two races that make up a vastly different number of the U.S. population. This makes abortion the largest killer of African American babies among all other major causes of death combined.
In 2016, these rates changed for the worst in regards to African Americans. While whites received 35 percent of abortions, blacks received 38 percent of abortions. An even more stunning statistic from 2015 states that African Americans were more likely to be aborted than born in New York City.
African Americans make up roughly 13 percent of the U.S. population, but are largely over-represented in abortion statistics. The same people who roiled the nation in perpetual cycles of riot and theft over the Summer of 2020 chanting “Black Lives Matter” are silent when discussing the astronomically detrimental effects abortion has on the African American community. Those are also the same people who are currently rolling around in front of churches in a demonic-like trance, fantasizing about killing babies in an abortion, as what happened at the Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in New York City on Saturday.
Abortion supporters know how heinous of a procedure it is, which is why they are robotically trained to say “RAPE!!! INCEST!!! LIFE OF MOTHER!!!” If they did not, they would automatically lose the argument because every normal person concedes that stupidly hooking up and not using protection is no excuse to kill a baby (For those of you currently hunched in a fetal position awaiting Armageddon, that scenario is over 98 percent of all abortion cases).
The main thing people do not understand about the overturning of Roe v. Wade is that it simply brings the abortion debate back to the states, allowing people to vote on the issues that matter to them rather than running to a judge and forcing an agenda down everyone’s throat, which is how the Left has plagued our country with many of their insane ideas. The same thing happened with gay marriage: The people vote. It does not turn out well for liberals. Liberals run and cry to sympathetic, unelected, left-wing judges and it is upheld. Ha-ha! Everyone agrees with me! You’re a bigot and a threat to democracy if you don’t!
Not necessarily. Heaven forbid we let people vote and the result isn’t what you wanted. Even the liberal bastion of California successfully voted for Proposition 8, a state-wide gay marriage ban, in 2008. You read that right—2008—not 1952. Guess what happened there. You guessed that right, too! Liberals ran to the courts, found a liberal judge, and by that factor, overturned the will of Californians. Isn’t democracy fun?
If we want to have a serious conversation about abortion, we must state first and foremost when life begins. Life begins at conception, when the sperm cell fertilizes the egg. End of story. Not at 3 weeks, at 3 months, or at birth—at conception. A fetus is not a “clump of cells,” as many pro-choice-ers would have you believe. Can you imagine if we performed abortions on animals, like dogs, when we usually perform abortions on humans? You don’t think PETA would be all over that like white on rice? How about when we consider there to be life on a different planet? A paramecium on Mars is given a larger affiliation with life than a 20-week-old unborn human being. How can we, in good standing, condemn murderers who kill other adults when we refuse to apply the same logic to those living in their mother’s stomach?
How can we defend the indefensible?
If we wish to ultimately end the abortion issue, we must tackle the morality issue; stop telling kids about sex in 3rd grade, teach abstinence, and promote the sanctity of marriage. Believe it or not, this is a formula that has been proven to work for thousands upon thousands of years. These cemented facts do not suddenly become magically untrue simply because a smartass twentysomething with a college degree, whose most vibrant hobbies consist of weed and pornography, says so.
In the end, we must protect our judicial system from these sickening displays of intimidation and threats of violence. But most of all, we must do all we can to protect the most innocent among us and give the voiceless a voice. The future of our nation, as well as our status as the human race, depends on it.
